SPECIFICATIONS
ISOTEC SPECIFICATIONS
The thermal insulation of the pitched roof must be created using an under-tile insulation system consisting of:
• A modular, self-supporting and insulating monolithic structural panel, made from rigid closed-cell polyurethane foam with a density of 38 kg/m3, Euroclass F (EN 13501-1), with minimum thermal conductivity λD of 0.022 W/mK (according to UNI EN 13165), and declared thermal resistance RD of not lower than 2.73 m2K/W for 60 mm thick panels, 3.64 m2K/W for 80 mm thick panels, 4.55 m2K/W for 100 mm thick panels, and 5.45 m2K/W for 120 mm thick panels and 7.27 m2K/W for 160 mm thick panels.
The panel is shaped with longitudinal overlapping stiffeners on the long side and dovetail joints on the short side. The panel is covered by embossed aluminium foil on both the intrados and extrados. The panel must carry the CE marking approved by certificates issued by accredited bodies.
• ISOTEC: The metal profile covered with 3cm thick aluminium-zinc-silicon alloy is integrated in the panel and has holes that allow the disposal of water and micro-ventilation of air from the gutter to the ridge. It comes with a longitudinal rib, on the flat part supporting the panel in polyurethane, which hinders the possible capillary rise of water. The stiffener also has holes in the flat area of the tile support, for use with accessories such as ventilated gutter batten, or metal tabs for the mechanical fastening of the tiles.
Width: conforms to the pitch of the roof elements
Length: 3900 mm
Thicknesses: 60 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm and 120 mm.
ISOTEC XL – ISOTEC XL PLUS SPECIFICATIONS
The thermal insulation of the pitched roof must be created using an under-tile insulation system consisting of:
A modular, self-supporting and insulating monolithic structural panel, made from rigid closed-cell polyurethane foam with a density of 38 kg/m3, self-extinguishing, Euroclass F (EN 13501-1), with minimum thermal conductivity λD of 0.022 W/mK (according to UNI EN 13165), and declared thermal resistance RD of not lower than 2.73 m2K/W for 60 mm thick panels, 3.64 m2K/W for 80 mm thick panels, 4.55 m2K/W for 100 mm thick panels, 5.45 m2K/W for 120 mm thick panels and 7.27 m2K/W for 160 mm thick panels.
The panel is shaped with longitudinal overlapping stiffeners on the long side and dovetail joints on the short side. The panel is covered by embossed aluminium foil on both the intrados and extrados. The panel must carry the CE marking approved by certificates issued by accredited bodies. The metal profile covered with 4cm thick aluminium-zinc-silicon alloy is integrated in the panel and has holes that allow the disposal of water and ensure ventilation equal to more than 200 cm2/m of gutter. It comes with a longitudinal rib on the flat part resting against the panel in polyurethane, which hinders the possible capillary rise of water.
The ISOTEC XL PLUS has a gasket positioned under the metal stiffener of the panel consisting of high-density, closed-cell PVC foam. This gasket ensures high waterproofing effect with a compression of 30% which increases the resistance against accidental infiltrations if the roof covering should break.
